Greenburgh Health Center is a community health center serving medically underserved residents of White Plains, Greenburgh, Elmsford and Port Chester. Their mission is to eliminate health disparities and provide a continuum of primary, specialist and preventive health care services to medically neglected populations. A significant number of Greenburgh’s patients are children and adolescents. In 2015, Greenburgh had over 6,800 patients under the age of 21.
Greenburgh Health Center is a divison of the Mount Vernon Neighborhood Health Center Network.
2019 - Trauma PreventionCDF gave 340 bicycle and BMX helmets to Greenburgh Health Center to be distributed as part of their childhood trauma prevention program.
2018 - Trauma PreventionCDF gave 370 bicycle and BMX helmets to Greenburgh HC to be distributed as part of their childhood trauma prevention program.
2017 - Trauma PreventionCDF gave 300 bicycle and BMX helmets to be distributed as part of their childhood trauma prevention program.
2017 - Pediatric WellnessCDF's grant helps to expand Greenburgh's well-baby program promoting preventative care and increased screening to toddlers up to 4 years of age
2017 - Well Baby VisitsCDF will help to expand Greenburgh’s well-baby program promoting preventative care and increased screening for developmental and physical issues for toddlers up to 4 years of age.
2016 - Trauma PreventionCDF's grant provided 240 infant car seats to be distributed through Greenburgh's Well Baby Program.
2015 - Well Baby VisitsCDF provided funds to purchase a vehicle to help ensure that children and families can make their health care appointments.
2014 - Well Baby VisitsCDF provided a grant to launch Greenburgh's Pediatric Well-Baby Program. In 2016, over 400 babies were enrolled in the program.
2012 - Pediatric WellnessCDF grant renovated the pediatric Children's Play Area and the Teaching Room at the Greenburgh Health Center.
2004 - Pediatric WellnessCDF provided two nebulizers, three computers, dental equipment, one vision screener, one visual field screener, two tympanic devices and two broselow carts as part of Greenburgh's Early Intervention Pediatric Program.
