Thank you for your interest in applying for a grant.
CDF accepts new grant proposals beginning in March of each year. We announce our grant awards once a year in late June/early July. Please be aware that we only consider applications from 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations and that no individuals may apply.
We welcome grant proposals from non-profit organizations for initiatives that will positively impact the health of children residing in the Hudson Valley, New York. Grants should address our primary areas of funding:
- Equipment or dedicated facilities that will improve emergency pediatric care
- Preventative care or safety programs that will reduce the need for emergency room visits
- Pediatric training programs for emergency personnel
Please visit our Grants page to view past projects that we have funded.
Interested applicants are required to submit to CDF a 2- to 5-page proposal outlining the project, its budget, its impact on children, project timeframe, project efficacy and financial statements. Applicants must agree to provide CDF with results of the grant upon its completion.
Funding decisions are made by CDF’s full Board after careful study and recommendations from the Grants Committee. Study by the Committee often includes further discussion with the applicant and site visits.
If your organization would like to be considered for a grant, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain current proposal requirements and deadline dates.
