The Glidescope is a life-saving tool in helping to secure a patient’s airway in a critical situation – whether a medical condition or a traumatic injury. In addition to their smaller size, childrens’ airways are anatomically different than adults. Pediatric glidescopes are specially fitted for children and enable emergency workers to quickly see any obstruction in the airway and to accurately place breathing tubes, if necessary.
