Blythedale Children’s Hospital is a 92-bed children’s hospital dedicated to caring for children with complex medical and rehabilitative needs. Blythedale offers an array of multidisciplinary inpatient and outpatient care programs serving children in the tri-state New York Metropolitan area. Blythedale treats more than 300 patients daily through its inpatient, day hospital and outpatient programs which include physical, occupational and speech therapies. It also has the distinction of having its own separate public school on site, the only hospital in New York State to do so.
CDF provided funds for a SYNCLARA Cough System used to clear mucus for patients who have difficulty coughing on their own.
CDF funded the purchase of equipment to train parents and caregivers in order to better care for children after they are discharged to their homes.
CDF donated ten new iPad devices to be used by children in Blythedale's on-site Hospital School.
CDF provided a grant to help pay for a Bernoulli Ventilator and Pulse Oximeter Alarm and Information Management System for their infant and toddler Intensive Care Unit.
