CDF Grant Recipient:

Putnam Hospital Center

Putnam Hospital Center is the only acute healthcare facility in Putnam County offering medical, surgical, psychiatric and emergency services. In 2015, Putnam Hospital Center’s Department of Emergency Medicine saw more than 27,000 visits of which 5,000 were under the ages of 18.

Putnam Hospital is part of the HealthQuest System of hospitals and healthcare providers.

Grants Awarded:
  • Omni Swaddle Sack2023 - SIDS Prevention

    CDF provided funds to Putnam Hospital for their Infant Safe Sleep Program to improve infant safety by providing every baby born at Putnam Hospital in 2024 a free custom Omni Swaddle Sack and safe sleep educational materials for her newborn.

  • 5-year Training Simulator2016 - Training

    CDF donated funds to purchase two advanced life support training simulators - for young children and for newborns. Diagnosis and speed taken to perform vital functions is monitored through software.

    CDF donated a Pediatric Vital Sign Monitor and pulse oximeter with stand.

  • Veinlite2011 - Veinlites

    CDF donated a veinlite - a hand-held device that allows emergency workers to quickly and efficiently locate veins.

  • Neopuff Ventilator2009 - Neopuff Infant Respirators

    CDF donated two Neopuffs to Putnam Hospital Center. Neopuff respirators provide resuscitation for premature babies and newborns.

  • 2002 - Pediatric Treatment Areas

    CDF gave funds for the construction of a Pediatric Area in their Emergency Department
