CDF Grant Recipient:

Yonkers Community Health Center

The Yonkers Community Health Center is a not-for-profit providing quality comprehensive health care services to medically underserved residents of the community. It is operated by the Mount Vernon Neighborhood Health Center Network.

In 2015, Yonkers Community Health Center had over 4,300 patients under the age of 21. Their Pediatrics Department offers a full range of health services such as physicals, immunizations, health screenings, sick child visits and specialist referrals.

Grants Awarded:
  • 2019 - Trauma Prevention

    CDF donated 330 bicycle and BMX helmets as part of YCHC's childhood trauma prevention program.

  • 2018 - Trauma Prevention

    CDF gave 380 bicycle and BMX helmets to Yonkers Community Health Center to be distributed as part of their childhood trauma prevention program.

  • 2017 - Trauma Prevention

    CDF donated 300 bicycle and BMX helmets as part of YCHC's childhood trauma prevention program.

  • Yonkers-Exam2007 - Pediatric Wellness

    CDF's grant provided equipment for the Yonkers Community Health Center's Pediatrics Department including three exam tables, one vital sign monitor, a defibrillator, a otoscope/ophthalmoscope, one Broselow cart, one vision screener, one stretcher, three nebulizers and other items.
