Announcing our 2017 Grants

CDF is pleased to announce their 2017 grant awards to the following organizations.

Greenburgh Health Center, Greenburgh, NY – CDF will help to expand Greenburgh’s well-baby program promoting preventative care and increased screening for developmental and physical issues for toddlers up to 4 years of age.

Hudson River Healthcare, Peekskill, NY – CDF donated 930 bicycle and BMX helmets which will be distributed at their 19 neighborhood health center locations in the Hudson Valley.

El Centro Hispano, White Plains, NY – CDF donated 75 bicycle helmets as part of their community Bike Rodeo event which emphasized bicycle safety.

MidHudson Regional Hospital, Poughkeepsie, NY – CDF’s grant provides funds for the purchase of one Ambu aScope with monitor and one specialized pediatric cart for their Emergency Room Department.

Mount Vernon Neighborhood Health Center Network, Mount Vernon, NY – CDF purchased 1,000 bicycle and BMX helmets to be distributed at their three member centers: Greenburgh Health Center, Yonkers Community Health Center and Mount Vernon Neighborhood Health Center as part of their childhood trauma prevention program.

New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY – Our grant will fund the purchase of a SimBaby manikin system for their Clinical Skills Simulation Center. The Center trains students, Westchester Medical Center and Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital personnel as well as community healthcare providers.

Northern Westchester Hospital, Mount Kisco, NY – CDF will provide the funding for the purchase of 3 Broselow Carts for their emergency and radiology department. Broselow Carts are used by emergency room professionals to have quick access to properly sized medical supplies and dosage instructions for children up to approximately 12 years of age.

White Plains Hospital, White Plains, NY – Our grant will be used to update an existing Pediatric GlideScope and provide a Glidescope with pediatric capability and a EZ IO task trainer for their simulation center.
